Rusty Frantz

Rusty Frantz was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer at Quality Systems, effective July 1, 2015 and was named a member of the Company's Board of Directors in August 2015.

Most recently, Frantz spent eight years serving in varying roles with increasing responsibility at CareFusion Corp., a San Diego-based global medical technology corporation serving the healthcare industry, providing products and services that assist hospitals in improving the safety and quality of care. From 2011 until March 2015, when CareFusion was acquired by Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), Frantz served as senior vice president and general manager, global dispensing division. During this time, he spearheaded a transformational medication management strategy across three global brands - Pyxis, Rowa and CareFusion Smartworks - which comprised $1 billion in global revenue. This was a key strategic driver in the acquisition of CareFusion by BD.

Prior to heading the global dispensing division, Frantz was vice president of research and development of the Pyxis business unit, where he led the process to bring the highly successful Pyxis ES medication dispensing solution to market. He also served as general manager of Pyxis Perioperative Solutions, a leader in hospital and health system supply management solutions.

Earlier, Frantz held the role of chief technology officer and co-founder of OutPurchase, a provider of cloud-based procurement solutions and services. He began his career as one of the first employees at Omnicell, a leading supplier of comprehensive automation and business analytics software for patient-centric medication and supply management across the healthcare continuum.

Frantz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy and a Master's of Engineering from Stanford University.

Daniel J. Morefield
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Daniel J. Morefield

Daniel J. Morefield was appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer in September 2012.  Morefield brings more than 30 years of technology experience to Quality Systems, having spent the past decade serving in various operational and technology-related leadership roles.  Most recently, Morefield was president and chief executive officer at LEADS360, Inc., the nation’s largest and most successful sales lead management company.  During his tenure, Morefield introduced several successful new products, reorganized its leadership team and helped develop and implement strategies that resulted in improved financial and operational performance.

Previously, Morefield was chief operations officer at Experian Consumer Direct, the largest consumer credit report monitoring business and parent of well-known brands such as and  Here, Morefield oversaw technology, product development, customer operations and wholesale client relationships.  During his tenure, Morefield rebuilt the company's technology and product management teams, which helped significantly increase average membership revenue.  Morefield also served as chief information officer at Overture Services, Inc., the pioneer of the paid search concept including pay-for-performance and sponsored search options.  Morefield holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in management science (quantitative economics) from the University of California, San Diego.

David A. Metcalfe

David Metcalfe

David A. Metcalfe was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, effective February 1, 2016. He brings 30 years of experience, including leadership of large, global, cross-functional teams and the development, delivery and support of enterprise software solutions, having spent the past 11 years working in the healthcare IT industry.

Most recently, from March 2015 to January 2016, Metcalfe, served as vice president of research and development at Becton, Dickinson & Company (BD), a leading worldwide medical technology company. Prior, he was vice president of product development at CareFusion Corp., a global medical technology company that aids healthcare institutions in improving the safety and quality of care, from September 2012 to March 2015, at which time CareFusion was acquired by BD. From 2008 to 2012, Metcalfe was vice president of development at Allscripts, a provider of healthcare information technology (HIT) solutions. Previously, from 2004 to 2008, he was director of software engineering at Hill-Rom IT Solutions, a leading worldwide manufacturer and provider of medical technologies and related services for the healthcare industry. Earlier in his career, Metcalfe held senior-level research and development positions with increasing responsibility at various global technology companies.

Metcalfe earned a Bachelor of Science degree (with honors) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Teesside University in England.

James R. Arnold, Jr.

James R. Arnold, Jr.

James R. "Jamie" Arnold, Jr. was appointed to the post of chief financial officer for Quality Systems and its NextGen Healthcare subsidiary, effective March 1, 2016, bringing more than three decades of finance and software technology experience to the Company. He oversees all financial-related functions of the Company and its NextGen subsidiary.

Most recently, from June 2010 to May 2015, Arnold served as chief financial officer and executive board member at Kofax Ltd., an Irvine, Calif. based software company, where he was responsible for finance, accounting, IT, real estate, treasury, audit, tax and investor relations. Arnold was instrumental in the completion and integration of six acquisitions, disposition of the hardware distribution business and oversaw the company's U.S. initial public offering and the company's transition from a listing on the London Stock Exchange. As a key member of management, Arnold participated in and facilitated the strategic process that resulted in the sale of its enterprise software division, focused on integration and transition matters.

From 2004 to 2009, Arnold was senior vice president at Nuance Communications, Inc., a Burlington, Mass.-based publicly traded software company. He also was chief financial officer from 2004 to 2008 during which time Nuance acquired 17 companies and completed several debt and secondary stock offerings. From 2008 to 2009, Arnold aided with the integration of an acquisition.

Earlier, Arnold held executive positions at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., Informix Software, Inc. and, Centura Software Corporation. Arnold served as a board member and chair of the Audit Committee at Selectica, Inc. from 2003 to 2010. In 2010, he served as co-chairman of the board. He began his career at PriceWaterhouse LLP.

Arnold holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Loyola University in New Orleans, La.

Scott Bostick
Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer
Scott Bostick

Scott E. Bostick joined Quality Systems, Inc./NextGen Healthcare as chief client officer in March 2016. In this newly created position, Bostick oversees client services and relations, sales and marketing, as the Company aligns all client-facing efforts under his direction.
Bostick brings more than 25 years of healthcare technology experience, client service expertise and sales and marketing leadership to Quality Systems/NextGen Healthcare. He is a seasoned healthcare information technology executive with experience across start-ups enterprises, high-growth companies and turnaround operations.
Previously, Bostick spent six years at CareFusion Corp., serving in a range of roles before the company was acquired by Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in March 2015. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of Care Fusion’s Americas Commercial Operations, where he oversaw all commercial operations across the United States, Canada and Latin America. These operations spanned $3 billion of CareFusion’s $4 billion in revenue. He was promoted to this role from senior vice president, U.S. strategic sales, during which time he managed enterprise sales organization as well as sales training and operations. Earlier, he was senior vice president and general manager of CareFusion’s Pyxis medical dispensing division, where he directed strategy, marketing, product management, R&D and sales.
Bostick spent nearly 10 years at Cardinal Health, serving in a range positions, progressing from regional sales leadership roles and vice president of North American sales to general manager.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, and participated in an executive education program at Boston University.

Jocelyn A. Leavitt

Jocelyn A. Leavitt

Jocelyn A. Leavitt was named executive vice president, general counsel and secretary in June 2013, having been promoted from vice president, associate general counsel.  Prior to joining the Company, Leavitt was in-house counsel at CoreLogic, Inc. (NYSE: CLGX), a leading information, data, analytics and services provider to the real estate and mortgage finance, insurance, transportation, capital markets and government sectors.  Earlier in her career, Leavitt was a corporate associate with the international law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP where her practice focused on general corporate matters, including public company representation, securities matters, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.  Leavitt was recognized as a finalist for the Orange County General Counsel of the Year in 2013 and 2014.  Leavitt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.  She is admitted to practice by the State Bar of California.

Donna Greene
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Donna Greene

Donna Greene brings 20 years of human resources experience to her role as senior vice president of human resources.  Greene joined Quality Systems in November 2011.  Under her direction, the Company transitioned to a shared services platform, whereby all employees nationwide leverage and benefit from the resources built at the corporate office by Greene and her team.

Prior to joining Quality Systems, Greene was corporate director of human resources for Alliance Healthcare Services where she focused on employee services for physicians and healthcare workers in the oncology and diagnostic imaging space. 

Before engaging in an HR-focused career, Greene worked in retail operations, which led to her first HR role.  Greene began employment with Target as an HR Manager, working her way up to regional HR professional, focused on employee relations. Later, Greene became director of HR for Cendant as well as Chief People Officer for a small human capital consulting firm.

Greene’s work spans a broad array of industries as she has worked with companies of all sizes, and secured a proven track record for her design and implementation of HR programs and execution of HR strategies that align with organizational guidelines for the success of the given company.
